This is good for a day when you know you will be doing nothing but playing Warcraft. I posed this on one of our old sites years ago, but thought I would have it in here now =)
TACO SOUP (aka: I-am-busy-playin-wow-and-dont-feel-like-cooking soup)
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1 packet taco seasoning 1 onion- chopped 3 cans stewed tomatoes (you can go up to 5 if you need to feed lots of ppl) 2 cans kidney beans (rinsed and drained- I use 1 kidney and 1 black bean, but the recipe calls for 2 kidney, so whatever, lol) 1 can corn- DONT DRAIN 1 small can tomato sauce OPTIONAL: sour cream, shredded cheese (am's fave topping), frito corn chips (kmic's favorite topping)
DIRECTIONS:
In a crock pot or a large pot on the stove- add tomatoes, UNDRAINED corn, tomato sauce, rinsed and drained beans, chopped onions, and seasoning packet. Set on low. Brown ground beef- add to pot and stir.
Wait for it to heat (or if its in a crock pot, just leave it there til you are hungry and pick at it all day long)
Enjoy.
This is a total necessity at Amellae's house - esp for "big patch" days or expansion releases... or... just on days where she doesnt feel like doing much of anything as far as food is concerned.

This taco soup is so good. Back before Amellae started school we had WoW/Taco Soup days where the only break from WoW we took all day was to run downstairs to get some soup and run back upstairs to make sure we didn't miss anything. Delicious! Amellae has modified this recipe a couple of times, mostly due to missing ingredient replacements like chili powder for taco seasoning.
